South Africa bike trip 12 days Oct 2018
Had a great time on this bike tour. We were very relieved that we had booked e bikes for this tour as although the tour was graded 2/3 I did not expect the high level of fitness required for this trip and the tight timescales for travelling the distances in the heat. In my scores I have marked the tour down a little as we didn’t receive much in the way of pre tour info either before we left home or any info at the start of the tour- however it didn’t really matter as our excellent tour guide Luca gave us a briefing and route duscriptuon in a daily basis. Luca was a great tour guide and was very good at explaining about local points of interest and adapting to the different needs of the group members. joe our driver was also excellent and very safe in his driving and manoeuvring the van and trailer . Together they made a great team and made our first visit to South Africa very special- thank you
