The path to Vienna.
Was very pleased with all aspects of the experience of cycling holiday with Rad Reisen with the exception of the detail of the day to day cycling routes. Having been with other companies in the past and seen the information that other cyclists with other companies had on the Danube Cycle Path, I feel that the bare information of arrival and departure guidance was insufficient. There was no detailed guide to the daily route and no maps to add as a guide. Indeed we turned to rely on a Danube Cycle Path tourist information booklet that we picked up at one of our hotels. If this was freely available to all tourists then I fail to see why at least that could not have been provided in our guidance pack if not much more detail of towns and places we passed through on our cycle ride each day. A daily guide of this nature with a daily map would have made life a lot easier. Apart from that, as I have noted above, all other aspects of the experience were very good and any time we had to contact Julia, she responded speedily and resolved any difficulty.
