Wachau Home based Tour
1) Whilst the hotel was comfortable, it was a long way from Krems and restaurants etc. The exceedingly steep hill to get to the hotel discouraged the use of the bikes in the evening. The hotel bars/restaurants were not very interesting, perhaps they’ll improve when the extensive building works are completed.
2) More effort could have been made to get us and the other couple on the same tour to St Polten for the Traisental cycle path rather than start half way.
3) The ride along the Kamptal Cycle Path from Rosenburg was a highlight, although your description of this day as being flat did not allow for the 1.5Km climb out of Langenlois. Gasthaus Martin Haimerl der Regionale thoroughly deserved the 5* rating on Google
