Good value for money and great cycling
We did the14 day Passau to Iron Gate bike/boat and had a wonderful time. Cycling self-guided was new for us and it was great as you could go at your own pace and the route instructions and daily route briefings were easy to follow. Boat (Theodore Korner) was very good except when it got a very hot and the airconditioning struggled in the dining room. Meals were more than adequate (4 course at dinner), but did lack non-starchy vegetables. Service at dinner was a bit slow at times. Only serious issue for us was that table setting arrangements are allocated on day 1 and do not change and we got "stuck" with only one other person who complained about everything all the time.
