Travel review from Salzburg to Vienna
First, a big thank you to Julia, our tour director. I emailed her many times before and during the trip and she was always very prompt with her response. The route was beautiful and not overly strenuous however I do recommend the e-bike for those with not so strong knees (I?m age 70). With an E Bike you still get plenty of edercise but it takes the strain off the legs after a long day of riding.
The hotel accommodations varied from average to excellent. The lodgings on the lake portions were better than I had imagined while the lodging in Linz and above Grein were so-so. The breakfast choices were over the top for all but the hotel above Grein with the lodgings on the lakes offering an excellent quality and variety.
This is our second trip organized with Rad & Reisen and when there is a third it will be with them as well.
