Deluxe Boat and Bike tour of Southern Dalmation coast of Croatia
The bike trip was much more difficult than the rating given in the Rad Reisen website. There were 30 germans and 8 Americans on the trip. The Americans had all booked through Rad Reisen and all were on 21 speed bikes. The Germans were all on Ebikes and had booked directly through iD Riva. This was a very difficult route for the average 50yo biker, and should be advertised as Ebike only trip. We were not given adequate time to rest as we had to keep up with the Ebikes. The boat, MY Bellezza was a very nice ship, the food was good, and the staff were nice, but the alcohol served on the trip was terrible (only two choices of wine..both over priced and undrinkable) and the draft beer was swill. The bike guides were good, and tried to help us, but would not let us leave early to stay ahead of the Ebikes. I would not recommend this trip for 21 speed bikes mixed with ebikes.
