Fun bike tour around Lake Constance
The tour was varied, generally nice bike riding, beautiful scenery and villages, very friendly hotels. The room under the roof at Romerhof in Arbon wasn’t comfortable, but the restaurant was very nice. The bicycles were heavy and the gears didn’t help with uphill climbs. We regretted not having our bicycles. We recognize they are comfortable and reliable, but designed for very flat terrain. The equipment for the bike Had to be revised the next day: too many tool kits and inner tubes, a speedometer that wasn’t working. All was fixed promptly, but required a trip to RadReisen the following day. We enjoy your trips and will continue taking them. Your personnel was very friendly and helpful always.The GPS points were very useful since there wasn’t much trip route description. We wondered why we had to bother with several GPS legs per day instead of having one. Plus we were regularly sent to the train station when it didn’t concern us at all! We loved swimming in the lake, and enjoying a short salad stop at noon in the villages.
