Beautiful scenery.
Great variety of hotels and dinners
The bike tracks were not always optimal; large sections are just small dirt tracks .
We often had to decide on alternative routes .to make it in time .
The very first day was too long from Toulouse to Castelnaudery , 65km with headwind
We had one very hot day 32oC , we decided to have an early start, only to find out when arriving at 1 pm , that the hotel hadn't prepared our rooms , were told told to wait until 4.00pm.
Fortunately they changed their mind and we could enter earlier to have a much needed shower. That was very kind.
