One of the best cycling tours we had...
Overall, we were happy with the tour.
At our arrival the receptionist did not give us the tour package, we get it the next morning so we did not have time to get prepared. Also the same receptionist when we arrive at the end of the tour did not know which garage should we leave the bicycles.
The hotel in Treviso (Hotel Continental) the room was so small we as a party of 3 did not find a space to move inside the room 3 of us.
Our tour was only bed and breakfast and the breakfast in our Cat A hotels were above average and in some hotels very good and satisfying.
It would be nice to incorporate alternative lunch locations to the app.
The Veneto region is great for Level 1 cycling, the nature is beautiful we did the tour from Apr 16 to Apr 23 and were lucky did not have to cycle under rain.
Having an off day in Venice was a great idea, we have visited Venice (the hotel in Mestre Hotel Ai Pini was the best hotel that we have stayed and it was very easy to reach Venice from there) and rested during that off day.
The resort in Terme Battaglia was a good resort but we have stayed in the part where the rooms are a bit outdated. But in general using the thermal pool was great.
Moreover, if you are a foodie and love Italian and Mediterranean cuisine (I can't imagine who dislikes italian food) you will definitely enjoy your tour.
We ended up cycling 225 km (instead of 275 km - our son was not feeling well on the day from Mestre to Terme Battaglia we went there by train stopping and visiting Padova), and at the end of the tour I put on 1 kg despite the cycling :)
Definitely recomend it and most probably will do it again in the near future.
