Highlights of Dalmatia, deluxe by Bike and boat from split to Dubrovnik, Croatia
Overall, we had a fantastic time, and were very impressed with our lead guide, Kreso and his apprentice, Alen. They made us feel warm, and welcome and Kreso was a wealth of knowledge, and very passionate about his work and homeland.
The weather was not fully cooperative, but in spite of having to make some last-minute schedule changes, as a result, we saw as much as possible falling in love with Croatia and it?s and it?s stunning, Dalmatian coast scenery.
The food was very good, and plentiful. My only suggestion would be perhaps instead of plating meals so beautifully, to serve lunches and dinners ?family style?, so there is not so much waste? We all had hearty appetites, but noticed some of our table mates, leaving a lot of food behind.
Rocko, our waiter, bartender, etc. was a friendly, hard-working, young fellow.
My only complaint, is that as non-smokers, the crews fumes, drifting upwards to the the eating, and sitting area were unappreciated .
