Couple Trip - Geneva to Lyon Feedback
We travelled as a couple on this tour after completing the Passau to Vienna tour previously.
The bike route and equipment was great, however the pre-tour handover was atrocious! The only thing we were given to navigate the 300+ kilometre journey was an App. The problem was that the day before we were to leave the App DIDNT work, and when I called Lorenz for help he assured me his colleague/ partner was going to fix it and get back to us ASAP. It was a Friday and we were to leave the Saturday morning. I heard nothing back from him ALL Day, so I waited until 4pm Friday to call Lorenz back, only to be told he has left the office for the weekend and wont be back until Monday!!!
Thankfully the lovely receptionist fixed everything for us, and finally the App worked (and was in English!!) and we were able to take the trip.
How can the travel/ navigation App could not work is beyond me, and the stress and anxiety it caused was too much. The lack of care from Lorenz was disappointing to say the least. He should have ensured everything was sorted before packing up for the weekend. We will do more bike tours, but with another company going forward.
