Flat to slightly hilly tour course.You cycle on well sign-posted bike paths and gravel roads as well as side roads with less traffic. To some extent there are simpler trail conditions with raw gravel. Short sections are on roads with more traffic.

Denmark’s capital welcomes you with its cosmopolitan atmosphere, exciting architecture, and cozy way of life. Depending on your arrival time, you can take your first stroll or watch the hustle and bustle over a cup of coffee.

You’ll leave Copenhagen and cycle through fragrant forests, past beautiful countryside, and along the beaches of the Øresund as you head north. In Helsingør, be sure not to miss Kronborg Castle. Then you’ll take the ferry (about 20 minutes, about €10 per person, not included) to Helsingborg on the Swedish side.

After breakfast, you’ll take the train (about 90 minutes, about €30 per person, not included) to Falkenberg, one of the oldest towns in Halland. From here, your bike tour begins along the west coast, taking you through picturesque fishing villages and past small artisan workshops. In Träslövsläge, you’ll have the chance to take a break and enjoy some freshly caught lobster. In the late afternoon, you’ll reach Varberg with its imposing fortress.

Today, the sea accompanies you only on the first leg of the journey. Then you’ll follow quiet paths inland, past horse farms and fields. Finally, you’ll reach Kungsbacka, once a trading center with a beautiful old town.

You’ll leave Kungsbacka and cycle north through lush forests, past coves and small harbors. Särö is a great place to take a short break. Today’s stage ends in the bustling center of Gothenburg. Enjoy the atmosphere at the harbor or visit the Maritiman Experience Museum.

After breakfast, you’ll travel to Stockholm by train with your own luggage. In the afternoon, you’ll have time for a walk through the Old Town.

Cycling along Lake Mälaren, Sweden’s third-largest lake, you’ll head to the island of Lovön, where the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Drottningholm Palace, awaits you. Take some time to explore this beautiful building with its stunning lakeside location, and visit the exotic little “China Palace,” the palace theater, and the wonderful palace park. You’ll continue cycling across bridges and along the waterfront to Södermalm. This former working-class neighborhood is now home to hipsters and designers. On your way back to Stockholm, you’ll also pass through the Old Town (Gamla Stan) with its cobblestone alleys, crooked houses, and inviting cafés.
