Day 1: Innsbruck
Individual arrival and check-in. You receive your travel documents. Take your time strolling through the vibrant city in the Alps with its famous "Goldenes Dachl" (golden roof).
Day 2: Innsbruck - Zillertal valley, approx. 45 km
Leave the capital of the Tyrol behind you and cycle through lovely picturesque villages and places until you reach Zillertal Valley. Enjoy the breathtaking mountain scenery and take your time to explore the old town of Hall and the well-known world of the Swarovki-Crystals.
Day 3: Zillertal Valley - Kufstein, approx. 35 km
Numerous medieval fortresses and castles accompany you along the cycle path until you reach the lovely village of Rattenberg. Visit the Tyrolean Museum of farmhouses in Kramsach, before you arrive at Kufstein.
Day 4: Kufstein - Rosenheim, approx. 35 km
Today you cycle towards the Bavarian foothills of the Alps. The River Inn is now getting wider, floating in direction of Rosenheim, in antique times already a commercial centre of the Chiemsee region.
Day 5: Rosenheim - Wasserburg, approx. 30 km
Predominantly along the dam, partly through lowland forest you cycle to Wasserburg. The special location in a river loop makes the cityscape so unique. Wasserburg with its historical old town, picturesque facades and narrow lanes is certainly one of the most beautiful city’s along the Inn.
Day 6: Wasserburg - Mühldorf, approx. 50 km
The path to Mühldorf leads through lovely farmland, small villages and great high grounds. Typical for Mühldorf is the long drawn-out square with its beautiful town houses.
Day 7: Mühldorf - Kirchdorf/Inn, approx. 45 km
Take your time to visit two of the most popular pilgrimage sites along your tour to Braunau. Altötting is Bavaria’s most important pilgrimage and birthplace of Pope Benedict XVI. Before you cycle to Braunau, well-worth seeing is the breathtaking city of Burghausen with Europe’s longest fortification.
Day 8: Kirchdorf/Inn - Bad Füssing/Surroundings, approx. 35 km
Today you cycle through the impressive European reservation of the Lower River Inn with its species rich bird world and flora and reach Bad Füssing offside the River Inn. Enjoy this great health and spa resort.
Day 9: Bad Füssing/Surroundings - Passau, approx. 40 km
Along your way to Passau picturesque baroque towns invite you for a visit: Obernberg with its lovely market square, the magnificent Monastery Reichersberg and the baroque city of Schärding with its famous Silberzeile. A confluence of River Inn and River Danube rewards Passau as one of German’s most beautiful cities.
Day 10: Passau
Included train ride back or extension at Passau.
