The landscape is moslty flat, only few parts are slightly hilly.
Day 1: Berlin/Oranienburg
Individual arrival to Berlin / Oranienburg. From Berlin city center you can reach Oranienburg easily by taking the direct interurban train. Overnight in Oranienburg.
Day 2: Oranienburg – Zehdenick/Fürstenberg/surroundings, approx. 35 - 75 km
You cycle along the Oder-Havel-Canal to Liebenwalde. Continue along the Havel to Zehdenick. Overnight in Zehdenick or Fürstenberg / surroundings.
Day 3: Zehdenick/Fürstenberg/surroundings – Neustrelitz, approx. 45 - 78 km
Along the way, you will come across the legendary Lake Stechlin, which has been immortalized through literature by T. Fontane. Overnight in Neustrelitz or surroundings.
Day 4: Neustrelitz – Waren/Müritz, approx. 65 km
A highlight of this tour is the Müritz National Park. Along the way, there is the small village called Ankershagen, where Schliemann, who discovered Troja, grew up. Overnight in Waren / Müritz.
Day 5: Waren/Müritz – Güstrow/surroundings, approx. 45 - 69 km
In the Nossentiner Heide National Park, you cycle through the vast wooded areas to Krakow. Overnight in or near Krakow / lake or Güstrow. A sightseeing tour in the Old Town of Güstrow and in the E. Barlach Atelier is a must. Overnight in Güstrow or surroundings.
Day 6: Güstrow/surroundings – Rostock/Warnemünde, approx. 54 - 78 km
Cycle along the Bützow-Güstrow-Canal. A route you may take any train to Rostock individually if you wish. Overnight in Rostock.
Day 7: Rostock – Nykøbing/Falster, approx. 38 km
Take the train from Rostock main station to the ferry harbour. The ferry to Gedser dures approx. two hours. On the Danish side you can enjoy the lovely stretches of dikes and trees along the most beautiful beaches of Falster. Overnight in Nykøbing / Falster.
Day 8: Nykøbing/Falster – Stege, approx. 75 km
Cycling along the coast and through easy terrain, you will reach the old merchant city of Stubbekobing. You can take the ferry to the island Bogø or you can alternatively cycle from Vordingborg to Kalvehave to the island Møn. Overnight in Stege.
Day 9: Island Møn – Køge, approx. 55 - 107 km
Traverse the bridge from Møn to Sjaelland. Continue to the north through the coastal landscape. Cottages and Manor Houses dot the surrounding countryside. From here, it is approx. 52 km to Fakse and approx. 68 km to the cliffs in Rødvig. Transfer back to Køge on your own by train. Overnight in Køge.
Day 10: Køge – Copenhagen, approx. 41 - 75 km
Today’s leg of the trip leads you along the beaches. You may want to visit the Museum for Modern Art in Ishøj. All of the other points of interest are reachable by foot from your central hotel. Don’t forget to spend an evening at Tivoli Garden or take a stroll around the old harbour. Overnight in Copenhagen.
Day 11: Copenhagen
