Day 1: Warsaw

Individual arrival in Warszawa/Warsaw and welcome by our guide. At 7 p.m. information meeting in the Hotel Radisson Blu in Warsaw. You receive the tour information. In the evening free time in Warsaw. Possible dinner in the recommended restaurant in the old town.

Day 2: Warsaw – Kruttina, approx. 15 km

Optional: at 8:30 a.m. a city sight-seeing tour in Warsaw with attractions such as: the old Town and the Lazienki Park.  At 12.00 o’clock a bus transfer to the Masurian Lakes District (ca. 200 km) – 4 hours. The first break in the Masurian District is in a picturesque place in the middle of the Puszcza Piska Forest by the birth house of a Masuria writer Ernst Wiechert. From the village Piersławek you begin a bike tour and go to Krutyń. Dinner and accommodation in Krutyń. The family hotel has a very good location - a picturesque and quiet hotel welcomes us with the friendliness of the owners and very good food. All rooms are clean and have shower and toilet in the room.

Day 3: Roundtrip Krutyn, approx. 50 km

After breakfast a bike tour through the Puszcza Piska Forest. This is the biggest forest in the Masurian Lake District. Among the pine and spruce trees live a lot of animals like deer, elks, roe deer, wild boars, hares and foxes. For lunch there is a possibility to have a break in the summer resort Ruciane Nida. In the afternoon you bike through the hidden masurian villages to Wojnowo. You can visit the monastery of the old Believers and the Russian Orthodox church in the village. On the way back to Krutyń you can visit the Marion Dönhoff’s Salon. Dinner and accommodation in Krutyń.

Day 4: Krutyń – Mikołajki area, approx. 40 km

Optional: In the morning a kayak tour on the most popular and prettiest natural river in Masuria, the Krutynia. On the way we admire one of the most beautiful part of this trip: pure water, which reflects the undisturbed landscape, there are fish and birds, especially many kingfishers. Nature lovers are always excited by this field. In the afternoon you bike through the masurian landscape park to Mikołajki. The landscape park with the lovely forests, glacial landscapes and many lakes is a real pearl of the former East Prussia. Biking on the good forest paths and narrow roads we reach a research station for beavers and small polish horses. After visiting the station we go further by bike to Mikołajki. The next two overnights we spend in a hotel beautifully located by a lake near Mikołajki.

Day 5: Roundtrip Mikołajki, approx. 35 km

Today you start with a boat ride from Mikolajki to Ryn. In the afternoon you bike along the masurian lakes in the area surrounding Mikołajki. You go through the picturesque villages and bike along the masurian sewers. After reaching Mikolajki, you have enough time for a coffee break and sightseeing in town. After dinner a bonfire with music. Accommodation in the typical hotel near Mikołajki.

Day 6: Day 6: Nikolaiken – Sensburg, approx. 45 km

–After breakfast, you will travel along Lake Rheiner See. On the way you will visit the Masurian Museum, where you can also take a coffee and cake break. In the afternoon, the tour continues to Nakomiady/ Eichmedien, where you will visit a manufactory and an extensive park. The tour continues to the Wolf’s Lair - Hitler’s former headquarters in East Prussia. After the visit, the bus transfer takes you to Sensburg.

Day 7: Round trip to Sorquitten, approx. 50 km

The day starts with a cycle tour through the past. We cycle through remote areas and beautiful landscapes to Sorquitten. In the afternoon, a visit to the Protestant church is on the program before returning to Sensburg.

Day 8: Sensburg – Hl. Linde – Rössl, approx. 300 km + bus ride

After breakfast, you will cycle to the old Masurian town of Rössel, where you will visit a castle. You then cycle to Heilige Linde (Swieta Lipka), where there is a beautiful baroque church. (Visit with a guide and organ concert). In the afternoon, a bus transfer will take you back to Warsaw.

Day 9: Warsaw

Return home or individual extension of the stay in Warsaw.

The shiftable, low noise electric drive of our modern electric bike relieves you of some of the work and increases the pedal force up to 3 times.

    You are welcome to bring your own bicycle. It is adapted especially to your needs. Do not forget to bring a repair kit with all necessary tools such as: keys, reserve tube and lock. Please check your own bicycle for operability upon arrival.

    Airport: Warsaw (WAW)
    Airport - Hotel Warsaw: The station at the airport is Warszawa Lotnisko Chopina. You take the tram S2 to the station Warsawa Ochota. Then you take the busline 22 to station Muzeum Powstania Warszawskiego. You can buy the ticket at the ticketautomat at the station for approx. € 5,00 (approx. 35min)
    You can also take a taxi for € 15,00 - Recommended companies: Ele Sky Taxi, Super Taxi, Sawa Taxi.


    Arrival by car

    Parking:
    Guided parking lot in Warsaw at the starthotel Ibis Styles Warszawa City, approx. EUR 15.-/day. Please pay parking fee directely at the hotel rezeption!
