Carinthia Round Trip August 2018
This was my first cycle holiday and I had a fantastic week - the weather was amazing, the scenery spectacular and the accommodation and luggage transport was marvellous. The cycle routes were lovely, especially the ones that followed the river Drau or went around or by the side of lakes.
My only complaint would be that the bikes were extremely heavy, especially when one is used to a lightweight road bike. This meant that the inclines were really hard work and that routes that would have been easy were actually quite demanding. If I do this again, I will consider bringing my own bike.
