Five day Cycle Tour Passau to Vienna
As a first timer, was a little apprehensive prior to undertaking the tour. However, it was a great combination of excercise, visiting new places, new experiences in general. The river has both north and south routes to choose from and even a third island option when arriving into Vienna City centre. Each evening I planned next day?s itinerary, generally familiarising myself with the route and villages, cross over bridges etc. It is well signposted throughout so almost impossible to get lost. The hotels were fine (although wifi not so good along the route). I was lucky with great weather. I hired an ebike which was excellent, giving about a 20% boost to my own efforts. The luggage transfer was flawless; my suitcase was always waiting for me on arrival at the next hotel. I visited Die Garten at Tulln which was superb.
