Fabulous Burgundy Cycling Experience - France in October
Arjan and Silvie our hosts were truly wonderful. Sylvie is French and lives in the area so she provided a unique and personal view of all the villages, tours and food-wine of our adventures. She was so helpful to all types of people with a variety of different concerns.
Our meals were of a very high standard by Benoit the chef, simply fantastic. Wine and beer was available on board at a most reasonable price and cold fresh water always available for your bottles. Lunch was made and placed in a clear plastic box for your panniers.
Our guide was Rosanne who was extremely friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable of the area. Some bikes especially electric ones had issues and some of the hills were long and challenging. We had high visibility vests and wore helmets. Rosanne kept the group together always making sure we were safe.
The country vineyards were beautiful even thought the colder rainy weather in October was unexpected. We enjoyed the tours both on the cycling paths and in the towns when we reached the boat later.
Our skipper takes good care of his boat and passengers. We recommend this tour.
