Varied and enjoyable tour with just one disappointing hotel
The variety of the route was excellent, from the flat area of Bodensee, the city of Zurich to the mountainous areas around Wallensee and Appenzell.
The e-bikes were excellent (and really helped with the couple of longer ascents). The route along Swiss national cycle paths were easy to follow and with very little traffic: we found the interactive maps on the https://www.schweizmobil.ch/ website very useful from time to time to check our location compared to the route, particularly in larger towns.
The hotels were all very good, with one notable exception in Lachen, where the room was low quality and poorly maintained, despite individual staff members being quite friendly.
