4,8 16.09.2024 | Lasse S. Moselle Cycle Path - Winery tour

Moselle 2024

Second time the same tour was in generally good, even the weather was not so good. Hotels were good level with good breakfast board. Especially the last wine and liquor tasting was excellent in very authentic place. Transportation from and to airport was good and in agreed time.
Some issues I like you will develop further:
Wine tastings are before getting the luggages and have possibility to get shower and change cloths before tastings, should be otherwise.
The condition of bikes was not very good. Tires was too loose (low air pressure). Some of them below 2 bar. With those small pumps difficult to get them up to 4 - 5 bar. Saddles difficult to get good position ( up and down ok, but the angle not). In some e-bikes impossible to use gears 1 - 3 ( like bike No 1414).
But in anyway we had nice biking. We visited even the Burg Eltz, which was not mentioned in your guide book.

You can choose your preferred type of holidays here. We distinguish between

    • Bike & Boat: Bike and boat cycling holidays are a fantastic way to relax and explore a country and a cycling experience you will never forget. A barge or cruise ship is your floating hotel providing comfortable accommodations, excellent food and drinks and an active vacation in a small group.
    • Home-based / Centre based: you stay in one select accomodation and cycle different routes each day, route suggestions mostly projectable individually, no daily packing necessary.
    • Roundtrip: cycling from point to point, sleeping in a new location each night, return transfer to starting point mostly included or bookable for an extra charge.
