Route

Tour profile: Level 2-3

Day 1: Split – Pučišća, approx. 25 km

Arrival in Split and check-in from 11 am. Departure at 1 pm, followed by lunch on board while cruising to the island of Brač. After arriving in Supetar, cycle along the coastal road to the northern part of the island of Brač. Pass the fishing villages of Splitska and Postira and reach one of the most beautiful small settlements in Europe – Pučišća. Free afternoon to visit this charming town, known for its long stone-masonry tradition.

Day 2: Pučišća – Kučište, approx. 32 km

Breakfast and morning sail towards the longest Croatian island - Hvar with a view of the Biokovo mountain range. Today’s starting point is a small picturesque bay Pokrivenik. Start with the ascent to the highest point of the route and the descent to the eastern point of the island of Hvar - Sućuraj, where the ship is waiting. After lunch on board, sail towards the second largest Croatian peninsula, Pelješac, and the charming settlements of Lovišta or Kučište. Optional captain’s dinner on board.

Day 3: Kučište – Trstenik, approx. 30 km

The third day’s ride could be called the wine panorama route. After breakfast, drive to Orebić, the city of seafarers and captains. The first few kilometers of ascent followed by descent with unique viewpoints of the Korčula archipelago. After Orebić, you will ascend to the area where the most famous varieties of Croatian wines are produced. Cross the Dingač tunnel to the southern side of Pelješac and continue through vineyards to Trstenik.

Day 4: Trstenik – Mljet – Korčula, approx.18 km

During breakfast, sail from Trstenik to the island of Mljet, the lush green island also known as the Honey Island. Mljet National Park (entrance fee to be paid on the spot) is a beautiful area with a unique charm, featuring two interconnected saltwater lakes, lush flora, a unique appearance of the indented coastline, cliffs and numerous islets, and evergreen plants of the surrounding hills. Cycle around the saltwater lake, which contains another island with a 12th-century Benedictine monastery. Refreshment in saltwater lakes and return to the boat for lunch. Sail to Korčula. Afternoon free to explore the city of Marco Polo.

Day 5: Korčula – Vela Luka, approx. 55 km

After breakfast, start with the longest route of the week through the whole island of Korčula. Climb to the village of Žrnovo and then to the oldest settlement on the island – Pupnat, the highest point of the route. Descend to the south side of Korčula and drive along the road between one of the most beautiful bays on the island with steep cliffs above it. Continue through numerous olive groves and vineyards, one of the most famous grape varieties Pošip. Short break in the charming village of Smokvica, halfway through the route. Descend to the sea and stop at one of the numerous hidden pebble beaches for a refreshing swim. Climb to the lookout point above the town of Blato, followed by the last descent to our destination - Vela Luka.

Day 6: Vela Luka – Hvar – Stari Grad, approx. 23 km

Early morning sail from Vela Luka to the town of Hvar, breakfast. Short sightseeing tour of Hvar, a fairytale town with its architecture, beautiful nature and mild climate. Cycle from Hvar to the other side of the island – Stari Grad. Pass numerous lavender plants and enjoy the view of the neighboring islands and the mainland. Lunch on board in Stari Grad. An easy afternoon cruise to two of Hvar’s pearls – Jelsa and Vrboska – and through the Stari Grad plain, where the ancient Greek land division has been preserved to this day, as has the system of roads and properties.

Day 7: Stari Grad – Split, approx. 36 km

The last day begins with a cruise from Stari Grad to the island of Šolta. After breakfast, you will cycle from Stomorska to the highest point of the island – Gornje Selo, enjoying the view on both sides of the island and the scent of Mediterranean plants. Continue to Maslinica in the west of the island. Short break and return to Stomorska. Lunch on board and sail to Split. Free afternoon to visit Split, a UNESCO city. Discover endless layers of history, architecture and urban spirit.

Day 8: Split (Disembarkation)

After breakfast disembarkation until 9 am and individual trip home or extended stay in Dalmatia/Croatia.
