      Tour profile: Level 2

You cycle on well-signposted and paved cycle paths (Isar-, Lake of Constance King’s sea and Via Bavarica Tyrolensis-cycle path) as well as on quiet side roads (only on short sections on main roads) and a few unpaved but well passable distances. A few short climbs can easily be managed pushing.

      Day 1: Munich (8-days - basic version)

      Individual arrival in Munich.

      Day 2: Munich - Murnau/Seehausen am Staffelsee, approx. 48 – 68 km

Your first bike stage leads you through the Forstenrieder Park to lake Starnberg. You can cycle along the lake or shorten the stage to approx. 48 km by boat (on your own, daily from 1st May possible). A real insider hint is the gorgeous view over the romantic Riegsee before you reach lake Staffelsee. Accommodation in Murnau resp. Seehausen am Staffelsee.

      Day 3: Murnau/Seehausen am Staffelsee - Garmisch-Partenkirchen, approx. 40 km

In the morning you cycle to the largest moor area of Central Europe. The "Murnauer Moos" arose after the last Ice Age. After that you go along the crystal-clear river Loisach to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. It is possible to go to the highest peak of Germany by train "Zugspitzbahn" and enjoy the unique mountain stage and the clear mountain air.

      Day 4: Garmisch-Partenkirchen – source of the Isar river - Wallgau/Krün, train ride + approx. 45 km

Today you start your trip with a train ride (included in the tour price). You easily manage 300 altitude differences. From Scharnitz you cycle to the picturesquel source of the Isar. On the way back you enjoy the magnificent panoramic view over the Karwendel Mountains.

      Day 5: Wallgau/Krün - Bad Tölz , approx. 50 km

The stage today leads you over the Isarwinkel to Sylvensteinstausee. Across Lenggries it goes along the turquoise-blue river Isar to Bad Tölz. The health town is well-known because of the TV series "Der Bulle von Tölz". The love for custom and home land is daily routine here.

      Day 6: Bad Tölz - Tegernsee, approx. 20 - 40 km

After a short time (approx. 20 km) you can enjoy the view over the lake Tegernsee and relax on the lakefront for the rest of the day. Very sportive cyclists can circle the lake Tegernsee (+ approx. 20 km).

      Day 7 : Tegernsee - Munich, approx. 25 - 65 km

The bike path Via Bavarica Tyrolensis brings you directly from lake Tegernsee back to the Bavarian capital. Anyone who wants can shorten the stage per Oberlandbahn to about 25 km (has to be organized by yourself).

      Day 8: Munich

      • Bicycles inclusive panniers

        Following bikes are available:

        • Unisex bike with Nuvinci transmission
        • E-Bikes

The NuVinci CVT special gear system (correspond to a 27 speed bike) uses a set of rotating balls and also tilting balls in a transmission. The offered bikes are touring bikes with an aluminium frame and kitted with responsive brakes and gears. Plus: comfort gel saddles, flat-palmed grips, Schwalbe Marathon anti-puncture tyres. All bikes are equipped with a pannier (saddle bag) and a handlebar bag/per room.
